Money, Money, Money
Money is the simplest thing that controls all of our lives. You need to realize it is important, but it's not the most important. There are so many other ways to be happy, rather than just spending money and buying things to be happy. The things that should truly make you happy are the things that money can't buy, such as memories, friends, and family.
One major thing money can't buy is time, and we all wish we had more time at some point or another. So instead of spending all of your time working to make money, spend just enough time doing that to where you have money to live and be happy. Yes, you might say," Well, I'm happy working and buying things that make me happy," but you say that because you have never done or tried anything else in your life that could make you happy because you have been so focused on work and making money. Open yourself to things money can't buy, and then look back on those things and think about which made you a happier person.
People these days throw themselves into debt for multiple reasons, and some of those reasons are unavoidable, but if you are able to avoid debt, then you will be happy and you won't have that stress on your shoulders. So many people spend many they don't have on things they don't need to impress people. Don't worry about impressing those people because they don't matter, and they might not even care. What matters the most is you, and you what you care about.
Please keep in mind the most important things in life are free, and money can't buy happiness, which is one of those free things you get in life by making choices. If you know that money isn't everything, and you try to better your life in other ways, then you are halfway to becoming a better and happier person. Make enough money to live up to your standards, so that you are happy in that sense, but count the things around you that money didn't buy that make you happy, and you will feel as rich as you possibly can.
